I have actually never experienced better customer service, friendliness and solution orientation before! The entire process from the first inquiry to the implementation of the course was characterized by goodwill, flexibility and personal follow-up. The stay itself was absolutely magical, and the food was fantastic. If it were possible to give 6 stars – they would have!

Overnight stay in Hikers nest at Basecampen down by the water was a fun experience. Impeccable service and friendly staff. Scenic surroundings and many activities to choose from in addition to mountain hikes. Clean and tidy both on the premises and inside. With access to a fridge, freezer, firewood and a fire pit, we really enjoyed ourselves. The evening was spent in front of the fire pit, in the absence of mosquito repellent. Got up for a good breakfast before the trip to Preikestolen.

If you want to get to Preikestolen, and also want to make the whole thing a much more pleasant experience (almost a bit of luxury), a night here is absolutely brilliant. Or two nights like we did. Then you can come the day before you are going up, have a good dinner and a few glasses of wine before going to bed in a spacious room, but with your own bathroom (and shower), before going to bed and sleeping. Because you are actually sleeping there the night before you are going, it is much easier to decide when the trip should start (you can adjust the weather and the number of people). When the trip is over, you can enjoy a two-course dinner – with a few glasses of wine – before going to bed again.

Nice and new mountain lodge with friendly service. Delicious food and nice rooms. Good starting point for mountain hikes in the area where you can subsequently eat well and enjoy yourself in a pleasant atmosphere. Affordable for the whole family. And a good place to hold company.

Impressively good food. I have eaten a lot of good food at Norwegian tourist cabins - but never anything like this! Exciting architecture and good rooms. Incomparable location and view. Despite being located in the middle of one of Norway's most visited natural wonders with well over 200,000 visitors annually, it was surprising to find such good accommodation. Have been to a conference for three days - a good place to think and work.
