I have actually never experienced better customer service, friendliness and solution orientation before! The entire process from the initial request to the implementation of course activities was characterized by goodwill, flexibility and personal follow-up. Staying in the Hikers nest at the Base Camp down by the water was a fun experience. Impeccable service and friendly staff. Beautiful natural surroundings and many activities to choose from in addition to hiking. Clean and tidy both on site and inside. With access to a fridge, freezer, firewood and a fire pit, we really enjoyed ourselves. The evening was spent in front of the fireplace, in the absence of mosquito repellent 😉 Got up for a good breakfast before heading to Preikestolen. Highly recommended GKSteine

If you want to get to Preikestolen, and also want to make the whole thing a much more comfortable experience (almost a bit of luxury), a night here is absolutely brilliant. Or two nights, as we did. Then you can arrive the day before you go up, have a nice dinner and a few glasses of wine before settling into a spacious room with a private bathroom (and shower), before going to bed and sleeping. Because you actually sleep there the night before you go, it's much easier to decide when to start the tour (you can adjust the weather and the number of people). When the tour is finished, you can again enjoy a two-course dinner - with a few glasses of wine - before going back to bed.

Nice and new mountain lodge with friendly service. Lovely food and nice rooms. Good starting point for mountain hikes in the area where you can eat well afterwards and enjoy yourself in a pleasant atmosphere. Affordable for a whole family. And a good place to hold a party. - J. Jensen

Impressively good food. I've eaten a lot of good food in Norwegian tourist cabins - but never anything like this! Stunning architecture and great rooms. Incomparable location and views. Despite the location in the middle of one of Norway's most visited natural splendor with well over 200,000 visitors annually, it was surprising to find such a good accommodation.
