Please note that Hikers Camp is located at the bottom of a steep gravel incline, but there are opportunities to go around. Some physical fitness is required.
Check-in from 12:00
We have automatic check-in. As soon as your room is ready, you will receive an SMS with your room number and digital key. The room will be ready for check-in between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on your day of arrival. It will be possible to check in whenever you wish between 12:00 PM and 11:00 PM, as long as you have received the check-in notification.

Facilities
Hikers’ Camp consists of 24 Hikers’ Nests and communal fire pits. Toilets are located next to the Camp and showers are in the service building by Preikestolhytta, a short but steep walk from the Camp.

The camp is located just a few minutes from the path up to Preikestolen itself. This makes it easy for the entire group to go on the mountain hike together, before you return to the camp and end the day around the campfire by the Refsvatnet. Hikers’ Camp is located right by the sandy beach at Refsvatnet, with easy access to swimming, kayaking, and our floating saunas. With basic amenities and everything you need right on site, this is an affordable accommodation near Preikestolen that lets you spend your budget on the experiences instead of the hotel room.
When you stay at Hikers’ Camp, you can easily rent kayaks, SUP boards or canoes, or order complete and tailor-made team building packages.
