Greetings to all our visitors! Overnight accommodation at Preikestolen BaseCamp is closed until March 2021. However, we can accommodate private groups of 10 or more people. If you have an enquiry, please send us an e-mail. While closed, we’ll be busy preparing for the new season. Until then, we encourage everyone to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Have a great winter!

Preikestolen BaseCamp's main and newest building, Preikestolen Mountain Lodge, is open most of the year. It has become well known in Europe for its architecturally innovative, futuristic, and environmentally friendly design. The lodge contains 27 guest rooms with private bathrooms, the basecamp's foodhall, and konference facilities.

The hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and back is 8 kilometers and takes 4-5 hours. The route has an ascent of 500 meters, with some steep sections. As part of the hike to Pulpit Rock involves rough terrain, we recommend wearing footwear with solid soles and good ankle support.
