Seasonal closure of overnight accommodation from Nov. 15 - March 1

Greetings to all our visitors! Overnight accommodation at Preikestolen BaseCamp is closed until March 2021. However, we can accommodate private groups of 10 or more people. If you have an enquiry, please send us an e-mail. While closed, we’ll be busy preparing for the new season. Until then, we encourage everyone to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Have a great winter!

Preikestolen Cabin Hostel

Choose between twin, quadruple and dormitory rooms. All rooms have sinks with hot and cold water, while you will find shared bathrooms in the corridor. Relax in the cosy lounge with a fireplace and beautiful views of Refsvatnet lake.

Small twin room

Our small twin rooms at Preikestolen Cabin Hostel are a good option for those who want a more affordable private room. The room rate includes breakfast, towels, bed linen and cleaning.

Large twin room

Our large twin rooms at Preikestolen Cabin Hostel have beautiful lake views and slightly more pace than the smaller twin rooms. The room rate includes breakfast, towels, bed linen and cleaning.

Quadruple room

Our quadruple rooms at Preikestolen Cabin Hostel are a good option for families or others wanting basic budget accommodation. The room rate includes breakfast, towels, bed linen and cleaning.

Preikestolen Mountain Lodge offers our highest standard of accommodation. The lodge contains 28 guest rooms with private bathrooms, the basecamp's foodhall, and conference facilities.

WaterCamp - Private Rental

Our lakeside WaterCamp offers guests unique outdoor accommodation. Sleep in hammocks and enjoy breakfast over an open fire. Rental includes use of water vessels (canoe, kayak, or SUP).

The hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and back is 8 kilometers and takes 4-5 hours. The route has an ascent of 500 meters, with some steep sections. As part of the hike to Pulpit Rock involves rough terrain, we recommend wearing footwear with solid soles and good ankle support.
