We warmly welcome you to a memorable meal at Preikestolen BaseCamp’s restaurant. Enjoy delicious food in a unique environment accompanied by panoramic views of Refsvatnet lake. We make everything from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We serve light meals, hot dishes and desserts to enjoy with your coffee.

We offer free parking for our dining guests. Please ask for a token at the restaurant.

Preikestolen Mountain Lodge

We wish you a warm welcome to the dining room at Preikestolen Mountain Lodge. We offer a Norwegian-inspired menu served in a wonderful environment with panoramic views of Refsvatnet lake. All our dishes are made from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We serve light meals, hot dishes and desserts to enjoy with your coffee. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a fully licensed bar.

Hikers’ Café

Hikers’ Café is located at the start of the main trail to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:30. We are also open from 09:00 to 16:00 on weekends throughout the winter season. As well as hot food and drinks to enjoy before or after your hike, we have a wide range of rental equipment and souvenirs. You can enjoy your meal indoors or outdoors.

The hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and back is 8 km and takes 4-5 hours. The route has an ascent of 500m, while some sections are quite steep. As part of the hike to Pulpit Rock involves rough terrain, we recommend wearing footwear with solid soles and good ankle support.
