Activities

Preikestolen BaseCamp offers a wide range of activities to suit all ages. We rent out canoes, kayaks and SUP boards at Refsvatnet lake along with all necessary accessories. The idyllic sandy beaches at the lake are also perfect for bathing and fishing.

Other activities on offer include climbing, abseiling, hiking and team building. You can spend the night at one of our exotic basecamps. What about a hike to the Rinda Troll or Gryteknuten?

Hiking

There are many wonderful hikes in the area around the BaseCamp, which you can do on your own or you can go on a guided hiking trip.

Our LakeCamp in peaceful and idyllic surroundings at Torsnes features a covered pier, boathouse and campfire shelter. Sleep just above the water surface and wake up to beautiful views of Refsvatnet lake.

The hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and back is 8 km and takes 4-5 hours. The route has an ascent of 500m, while some sections are quite steep. As part of the hike to Pulpit Rock involves rough terrain, we recommend wearing footwear with solid soles and good ankle support.
